2016 Rocktoberfest/Carol's Ministry Celebration

On Sunday, September 4th the Music Department and Trinity Lutheran Church and School will be hosting our 5th annual Rocktoberfest fundraiser!  This year's will be a special evening where we will celebration Carol Podwils are her 40 years of ministry.  Join us for a special celebration of the life and ministry of Carol Podwils by supporting her and raising money for the ministry she has built, at this year’s Rocktoberfest.  It will be a fun evening of food, games, live music by Rainy Day Parade, sharing, and making memories.   This is all in celebration of the 40 years of Carol’s ministry.  The event will be at the Powell Butte Retreat Center (14427 SW Alfalfa Road, down the road from the Pronghorn Golf Course turnoff). It is a beautiful space with a gorgeous view! The evening will start at 4:00 p.m., beginning with fellowship, game, dinner and a special program honoring Carol.  Then there will be more fellowship, music and dancing into the night.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids  Beer, wine and cider will be available for purchase. In addition to honoring Carol we will be raising money for the ministry she has helped build, the music ministry of the church and the school.  There will be special items to donate to in honor of her, as well as an opportunity to join the Performing Arts Patrons Circle.  All donations and proceeds from this event will benefit Trinity’s Music program, helping with the purchase of music, equipment upkeep, and much more.
